Oregon Inlet Offshore Report

Picture
Sunday April 22nd.  We left out Oregon Inlet and made our way out to the Gulf Stream.  The forecast was for 5-10 kts out the NE but as luck would have it, the wind ended up being 15 knots and was a little bumpier than we had expected.  Within the first 30 minutes we ran over a school of yellowfin tuna and ended up with 3 keepers.  We had a few other short bites and also caught and released a couple of small mako sharks.  As the day went on some folks on board were feeling a little sick so we decided to call it an early day.  Just before pulling in lines we ended up with a nice mahi.
If you're looking to take a trip offshore fishing from Oregon Inlet give us a call to take you out for a memorable trip.  Hitman Sportfishing keeps you up to date with recent OBX fishing reports.   Keep up with us on Facebook and Instagram too.
